After 6ix9ine's unsuccessful bail hearing, mulitple Crips confronted the alleged "9 Trey Bloods" when he returned to the intake cell at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center. We were told one of them "G-Checked" 6ix9ine to see if he was really a gang member, and things quickly escalated with them threatening 6ix9ine. Making the prison staff intervene.

This exchange was the reason for 6ix9ine's to be transfered to a new facility, according to 6ix9ine's legal team.

"6ix9ine was being threatened in jail. However, he was not scared nor did he request being removed," said his attorney Lance Lazzaro. "The [Bureau of Prisons], acting upon these threats, removed him to a different facility to eliminate the threat."

This could be the reason why he was transfered and not the reason the media outlets said he was moved. 6ix9ine’s trial has been set for September 4, 2019 where he faces up to life in prison.
